Job summary

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. is seeking a senior leader to head global Supplier Quality, ensuring raw materials, components and finished goods meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

You will shape the strategy, budgets, and talent across a worldwide team and drive continuous improvement across suppliers. Responsibilities include establishing KPIs, driving CAPAs, coordinating audits, and partnering with QA, GSR and other functions to resolve issues with sustainable corrective

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of leadership experience in a global consumer goods or pharma company.
• Experience leading global teams and coaching to build talent.
• Proven track record in driving multiple change projects and challenging the status quo.
• Experience developing strategy and ensuring budget alignment.
• Ability to move up or into other functions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to cascade strategy.
• Team player with high motivation and learning agility.
• Thorough knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
• Thorough knowledge of applied statistics.
• Thorough knowledge of production processes.
• Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent with lean methodology expertise.
• Project management and problem-solving skills.
• Auditing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy for Supplier Quality globally and align resources to execute (10%).
• Establish and monitor the global Supplier Quality budget (5%).
• Monitor KPIs, metrics, budgets, and scorecards to prioritize actions (15%).
• Oversee rapid resolution of supplier issues with open communication (20%).
• Ensure risk-based qualification, auditing and CAPA programs in collaboration with Auditing and GSR (20%).
• Lead improvement projects with cross-functional alignment (20%).
• Develop and recognize the Supplier Quality team, address competency gaps (10%).
