Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a seasoned Vice President of Pharmacovigilance & Risk Management to lead global safety strategy from clinical development through commercialization, crafting proactive risk management and surveillance.

You will oversee ICSR intake, signal detection, benefit-risk assessments, and regulatory submissions, while aligning cross-functional teams to maintain compliance and ensure patient safety across all markets.

Qualifications

• MD with extensive (>15 years) experience in pharma/biotech drug safety.
• Deep expertise in global pharmacovigilance regulations.
• Proven leadership in late-stage development and product launches.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead pharmacovigilance infrastructure and operations across the globe.
• Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements and safety standards.
• Manage safety surveillance activities (ICSRs, signal detection, benefit-risk assessments).
• Develop and implement risk mitigation plans for marketed products and development programs.
• Support regulatory submissions with safety data packages and expert input.
• Lead cross-functional safety collaborations with clinical, regulatory, and commercial teams.
