Job summary

Inpria Corporation in Corvallis, OR is seeking a Vice President of Quality to provide strategic leadership for the quality organization, systems, and initiatives. You will guide quality strategy across R&D, NPI, tech transfer, commercialization, and manufacturing, delivering continuous improvement and risk mitigation.

The role requires building a capable QA/QC organization, ensuring ISO 9001 compliance, and partnering with functions to drive customer satisfaction and reliable supply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering field; MS/PhD preferred.
• 15+ years of progressively responsible quality management experience in semiconductor/chemical/advanced materials, with senior leadership.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary QA/QC organizations and building quality capacity in a growing business.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, quality management systems, audits, regulatory compliance, risk management, CAPA, and change control.
• Experience maintaining and improving QMS for R&D, new product development, scale-up, commercialization, and manufacturing.
• Strong customer engagement, executive communication, problem solving, and data analysis.
• Experience with global operations, especially Asia.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; able to pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company-wide quality strategy aligned with objectives, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations.
• Lead and develop the Quality organization, including capability building and talent management.
• Expand, maintain, and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) supporting R&D, NPI, tech transfer, commercialization, and manufacturing.
• Lead quality planning, risk management, and governance across product development, scale-up, and manufacturing.
• Establish and maintain customer quality processes, including audits, complaints, corrective actions, and reviews.
• Partner with Technical Development, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Customer Support to resolve quality issues and ensure reliable product supply.
• Lead quality readiness and approvals for NPI, product qualification, scale-up, technology transfer, and commercialization.
• Ensure ISO 9001 compliance and oversee CAPA, nonconformance management, supplier quality, change control, audit programs, and quality performance metrics.
• Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement; provide updates to executive leadership on performance and risks.
• Other duties as assigned.
