Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a visionary VP, Design & Construction to lead the Center of Excellence for global restaurant design. You will align branding, technology innovations, and scalable rollouts across regions, guiding a high-visibility team and external partners.

In this role you will influence all stages from conceptual design to deployment, ensuring superb guest experiences and consistent brand standards worldwide. Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in design/architecture/engineering or related field.
• Architectural licensure preferred but not required.
• 15+ years leadership in Architecture, Construction, Engineering, or related design fields.
• 8+ years supervisory experience in Design/Construction.
• Proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe CC Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Center of Excellence, CCC Development Lab and COE staff globally.
• Ensure restaurant designs are branded and aligned with brand standards.
• Drive strategic initiatives impacting restaurant environments across global teams.
• Source and evaluate vendors and materials to support brand standards.
• Oversee external consultants, general contractors and design vendors worldwide.
• Translate concepts into roll-out packages with Development field teams.
• Influence in-restaurant guest experience and creative direction of environments.
