Global Value and Access Senior Manager - Rare Disease

What you will do

The Sr. Manager will support an innovative treatment approved for three distinct rare-disease indications and which is entering a period of global growth. Reimbursement expansion across more than 27 markets through 2026–2027, often across multiple indications at the same time, creates a dynamic and unprecedented launch environment requiring high-quality access materials and close partnership with local teams.

The treatment franchise has a large sales ambition and a growing pipeline of more than six potential indication expansions across different disease areas, and additional proof-of-concept opportunities. This scale offers the chance to contribute to a high-visibility brand undergoing international expansion and to build experience across a broad range of Patient Impact Expansions (PIEs). Each disease under investigation represents an opportunity to serve patients living with a severe, rare condition.

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role, you will be part of the Global Integrated Access Strategy organization, reporting to the Access Strategy Lead (ASL) for the innovative treatment within the Rare Disease therapeutic area. You will support access strategy and launch execution across the innovative treatment’s approved indications and evolving pipeline.

  • As Senior Manager, you will become the subject matter expert for a selection of indications in launch phase and potential indication expansion opportunities. You will lead indication-specific Value, Access and Pricing assessments and serve as the Global Access strategy point of contact within indication-specific global cross-functional working groups.
  • For your assigned indications, you will assess payer needs, competitor pricing, and evolving policies across the US and priority ELMAC markets. You will translate their implications into clear, actionable recommendations for the innovative treatment’s Value & Access strategy.
  • You will partner with global colleagues in Marketing, Health Economics, Medical, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Operational Pricing, Forecasting and Advocacy, as well as country and regional access teams. Your contribution will help shape evidence needs and country access plans and will inform the clinical development plan, early Target Product Profile, launch strategy and forecasts. You will also contribute to key global materials, including the Global Brand Plan and forecasting guidance.
  • You will lead payer research execution in partnership with Global Insights teams and manage external vendor work as needed, ensuring that research questions, methods and deliverables generate clear insights for access and pricing decisions. You will create high-quality Global Value & Access materials, such as early value stories and objection handlers.
  • As a key member of the Global Access Team, you will regularly present your work, help organize team meetings, and support Access Best Practice Sharing sessions and other calls with local access teams.
  • This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership, thrives on overcoming challenges, and is eager to grow in a high-visibility global position. You will collaborate closely with the ASL while independently leading assigned workstreams from strategy through execution, with meaningful exposure to senior stakeholders and markets.
