Job summary
Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead PSU projects from booking to installation of turbomachinery equipment in Houston.
You will ensure technical soundness, adhere to contractual requirements, and manage schedules to hit customer readiness-to-ship milestones. The role requires strong commercial and technical acumen, ability to lead cross-functional teams, and excellent communication with customers and suppliers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in project management for turbomachinery.
- Strong commercial and technical acumen with customer focus.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects from booking through installation and commissioning of turbomachinery equipment.
- Ensure on-schedule delivery and milestones to meet readiness-to-ship timelines.
- Drive project financial performance with margins within ±5 percentage points of revenue targets.
- Serve as primary customer representative from project award through commissioning.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through on-schedule execution and quality deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across global business units.
