Job summary

Engelhart in Stamford, CT is seeking an experienced Treasury professional to join the finance team and enhance the treasury operating model for an international trading business.

The role focuses on cash and liquidity management, working capital optimization, and reporting, working closely with treasury and middle-office teams. A background in commodity trading and hands-on treasury systems is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of treasury or trade finance-banking experience.
• Experience in a commodity trading business, ideally including US Gas & Power.
• Hands-on treasury processes; knowledge of trade finance.
• Experience managing working capital, collateral and liquidity requirements.

Responsibilities

• Working Capital Management: report transactions, understand funding and liquidity needs, identify optimization opportunities.
• Trade Finance Execution: process letters of credit, bank guarantees, trade finance loans, and other credit instruments.
• Bank Facilities: support reporting and operational requirements across trade finance and credit facilities.
• Cash & Liquidity Management: support daily cash settlements, liquidity requirements, cash forecasting and treasury reporting.
• Treasury & Trade Finance Projects: support testing, development and improvements to current structures.
