We are seeking a highly motivated Global Treasury Manager to join our Corporate Treasury team. This role is integral to Brady's global treasury operations and will report to the Treasurer. Key responsibilities include tactical oversight and direct management of daily cash and liquidity positioning, debt financing and trade facilities, legal entity funding and payments support, global banking structure optimization, M&A integration support, financial reporting and analysis and enterprise risk management. This "high impact" position offers strong visibility, including interaction with executive leadership such as the CFO, Global Finance Directors and Divisional Controllers.
What You'll Be Doing:
Cash and Liquidity Management
- Monitor and analyze the company’s daily cash position to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs; coordinate short-term borrowing and investments as needed.
- Plan and coordinate global cash movements - including intercompany loans, dividends, capital injections and cash repatriation - ensuring compliance with international banking regulations and internal policies in collaboration with tax, legal, and local finance teams.
- Oversee global cash pooling operations and structures, including intercompany netting transaction flows and foreign exchange (hedging) settlements
- Partner with shared services team to support global financial operations activities and ongoing integration-related workstreams.
Capital Structure and Financial Risk
- Manage external credit revolver / term loan facilities as well as local trade lines of credit to maintain adequate liquidity across global business operations.
- Pro-actively evaluate opportunities to optimize the capital structure and reduce the Company’s overall net cash interest burden, including evaluation of return of capital initiatives.
- Support key financial risk management activities on a global basis, including as related to FX (hedging), rates, commodities, insurable risk and overall enterprise risk exposures.
Banking Relationships
- Serve as a key treasury contact for banking partners as well as internal business leaders regarding bank account administration, bank products and services offerings, and technology.
- Streamline the global banking structure by consolidating accounts and reducing the number of banking partners to drive efficiency and cost savings.
- Assist with integration of acquired entities into Brady's banking systems and processes.
Other Responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly treasury-related reporting packages for public financial filings and internal presentations to senior leadership.
- Manage appropriate processes and procedures around month-end and quarter-closing activities.
- Partner with key external consulting resources as well as collaborate regularly with Accounting, Tax, Legal and other functional partners as related to key treasury operational initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures in day-to-day conduct and supervision of cash management activities.
What You Will Need To Be Successful:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 6 years of experience across either Treasury, commercial banking, corporate finance and/or public accounting & audit
- Global public company corporate finance/treasury operations experience is desirable
- Experience supporting large M&A transaction integrations is desirable
- Strong financial accounting and analytical skills
- Working knowledge of foreign exchange and derivative hedging instruments is desirable, as is experience supporting insurance risk management activities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage projects independently
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Results-oriented mindset with a bias for action
- Familiarity with SAP, OneStream, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace is desirable
