Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a highly experienced Construction Commissioning Manager for a full-time traveling assignment supporting advanced technology projects, including data centers. You will oversee end-to-end commissioning from Level 1 through Level 5, coordinate with QC, MEP teams, and trade partners, and ensure project requirements and test scripts are met.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required with extensive General Construction experience in MEP engineering, supervision or related roles.
Minimum of 5 years of Commissioning experience bridging field and engineering responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction processes and codes; USACE/quality management experience is a plus.
ASHRAE commissioning knowledge and/or certification is highly desirable.
Experience with Building Management Systems and environmental/electrical power controls.
Ability to interpret contract documents, owner requirements and project schedules.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end Commissioning activities from Level 1 through Level 5 for new or retrofit facilities.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, trade partners, QC and operations to ensure compliant project delivery.
Develop and manage QC and commissioning plans, test scripts, and start-up activities.
Collaborate with OFCI/CFCI vendors and ensure proper documentation prior to energization.
Lead Commissioning meetings and support onboarding of project staff and vendors.
Populate online equipment databases and dashboards to track inspection checklists and equipment data.
Understand contract documents and project requirements; monitor milestones and turnovers.
Travel to project sites as required to support nationwide data center and advanced technology projects.
