Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Procurement Manager in the USA (TX, Austin) to lead regional sourcing for inbound and outbound freight in NALA. You will drive cost savings, manage RFPs, and partner with Legal, Tax, and Finance to ensure favorable terms and capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau) is required.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing or sourcing environments is essential.
• Experience with Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership with visibility to factors impacting capacity and rates.
• Manage procurement RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs for inbound/outbound freight in NALA.
• Support Global RFP by communicating regional needs and evaluating providers.
• Drive cost savings via competitive bidding and rate benchmarking.
• Build cross-functional relationships to enable global procurement support.
• Develop supplier performance metrics and conduct quarterly business reviews.
• Conduct supplier spend analysis by category, region, and supplier.
• Benchmark rate information against historic pricing and competition.
• Report on spend patterns and optimization opportunities.
