Job summary

Amgen in the United States seeks a Global Transparency Operations Manager to lead daily operations of the Global Transparency team, coordinating cross-functional efforts with vendors to ensure compliance and timely data reporting.

You will drive continuous improvement, deliver analytical insights, manage training resources, and support US Open Payments activities, partnering with RAEs and internal stakeholders to uphold Amgen's transparency commitments.

Qualifications

  • Doctorate degree; OR Master’s with 2+ years; OR Bachelor’s with 4+ years; OR Associate’s with 8 years; OR high school with 10 years.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Global Transparency team with a third-party MSP.
  • Coordinate updates to US-related documentation and training resources.
  • Maintain transparency reporting calendar and mailbox; triage inquiries.
  • Track training completion and vendor onboarding materials.
  • Support investigations and escalation with RAEs and partners.
  • Serve as first contact for data requests, audits, and inquiries.
  • Collaborate with MSP and Technical teams to resolve data issues.
  • Coordinate US Open Payments reporting activities.
  • Support continuous improvement and strategic roadmap execution.
  • Deliver reporting, metrics, and insights for program oversight.

Global Transparency Operations Manager
What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. This role manages Amgen's Global Transparency Program operations. The individual will coordinate global transparency support activities, drive cross-functional collaboration, generate data analytics and reporting, and help advance program capabilities to ensure compliance with global transparency requirements and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage Global TransparencyOperations:
  • The individualwill managethe day-to-day operations of the Global Transparency team in partnership with thethird-partymanaged services team.
  • Coordinate annual updates to US-related documentation including; State Reporting Methodologies and US Open Payments Assumptions.
  • Coordinate updates to internal and external transparency training and resources; the Global Transparency Tools and Resources Portal, LMS Training, SOP, FAQs, third-party vendor resources and portals as required.
  • Maintain the Global Transparency Reporting Calendar and Mailbox, ensuring timely triage, coordination, escalation, and resolution of inquiries.
  • Track and report completion of employee and third-party vendor training requirements; maintain associated training documentation and vendor onboarding materials.
  • Support issue management and escalations related to transparency reporting investigations and inquiries, partnering with Local Transparency Teams and Responsible Amgen Employees (RAEs) and business partners to ensure timely resolution.
  • Serve as an initial point of contact for cross-functional transparency-related requests, including data requests, audit support, transparency language reviews, and operational inquiries.
  • Liaise with Amgen's third-party managed services provider and Technical teams to investigate and resolve source data issues impacting transparency reporting.
  • Coordinate activities supporting U.S. Open Payments reporting, including dispute management and investigation activities in partnership with internal stakeholders and managed service providers.
Support Global Transparency Program Strategy:
  • The individualis responsible forsupporting continuousimprovement andtechnological advancement within the Global Transparency program.
  • Support execution of the Global Transparency roadmap and strategic initiatives.
  • Identify and elevate operational risks, compliance concerns, and process gaps to the Global Transparency Lead.
  • Surface recommendations to enhance automation, reporting capabilities, data governance, controls, and operational efficiency.
  • Operational change management, including communications and training activities associated with program enhancements and regulatory changes.
  • Develop and deliver reporting, metrics, and analytical insights to support program oversight, risk identification, and informed decision-making.
  • Analyze transparency reporting data to identify critical outliers, emerging trends, and potential compliance risks, providing recommendations to the Global Transparency Lead for action.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
