Job summary

Crowell & Moring LLP, a premier international law firm, seeks an International Trade Analyst to perform KYC counterparty due diligence, sanctions screening, and broader financial crime risk assessments. The role supports DCSA facility clearance processes and CFIUS filings, coordinating with U.S., EU, and UK trade attorneys.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in KYC/compliance roles, familiarity with relevant software, and eligibility under export control rules.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs, International Business, Economics, or related field.
At least two years in KYC, DCSA facility clearance, or CFIUS-related work preferred.
Experience with compliance software (World Check, Visual Compliance, Dow Jones, etc.).
Must meet U.S. Person export control requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform sanctions screening of clients, counterparties, and transactions using internal/external databases.
Investigate false positives and true positives for risk assessment.
Assist attorneys with risk assessments and foreign investment analyses.
Prepare documentation for facility clearance and CFIUS filings; interact with clients and government personnel.
