Job summary

IFF, a global leader in food ingredients, flavors, fragrances, and health & biosciences, is seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist in New Century, KS (Hybrid 3x a week). You will support customs operations for the United States and Canada, manage import clearance, and assist with duty drawback and post-entry activities.

You will work with SAP GTS and related systems, maintain audit-ready records, ensure sanctions screening, export controls, and collaborate with brokers and internal stakeholders

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in trade compliance, customs operations, logistics, supply chain, import/export operations, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience supporting customs compliance activities.
• Ability to maintain accurate compliance records.
• Experience with SAP GTS, SAP ERP, ACE, CARM, or similar systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support customs operations for the United States and Canada.
• Coordinate import clearance activities and broker inquiries.
• Review customs entries and assist post-entry activities.
• Assist with duty drawback and duty recovery programs.
• Monitor holds, examinations, and government requests.
• Support trade controls including sanctions screening and export controls.
