Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Trade Advisory Manager to lead our Trade Advisory services in the United States. You will oversee a team of customs and trade advisors and guide clients through complex regulations to minimize risk and maximize efficiency.

The role emphasizes developing new service offerings, owning long-range plans, and delivering high-quality client deliverables while maintaining strong relationships with CBP and other authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• Licensed Customs Broker; J.D. or graduate degree.
• 10+ years trade-related experience in house, customs brokerage, consulting or law firm.
• 3-5 years experience managing associates, projects, and business metrics.
• Strong technical and business writing skills.
• Public speaking and client-facing presentations experience.
• Expertise in tariff classification, valuation, duties minimization and avoidance, and trade regulations.
• Interpersonal skills with strong organizational abilities.
• Proficient with MS Office and Google equivalents.
• Digital-first mindset; no paper, all digital processes.

Responsibilities

• Help lead the team of customs and trade advisors.
• Develop and roll out new trade advisory service offerings.
• Own the team's long-range plan and build the growth strategy.
• Address client questions and problems related to trade.
• Foster an agile, technology-focused, high-performance culture.
• Manage a team and grow Trade Advisory services.
• Own the portfolio of clients and projects; lead execution and metrics reporting.
• Improve operational efficiency, leadership communication, and revenue growth.
• Guide associates on research for tariff classification, valuation, origin, remedies, and FTAs.
• Review and finalize client deliverables including memos and presentations.
• Monitor deadlines and prepare submissions to CBP.
• Maintain communication with clients, customs and authorities, and internal stakeholders.
• Stay informed on regulations, rulings, and industry trends.
• Organize internal and external trade communications.
• Support Trade Advisory infrastructure and administrative needs.
