Fivetran is seeking a Global Technology Partner Manager to own and grow our strategic partnership with Databricks. You will orchestrate across sales, solution architecture, marketing, and operations to accelerate partner development and joint go-to-market efforts.

In this role in Oakland, CA, you will build credibility with field sales and pre-sales, connect partner teams, and drive mutual customer adoption and revenue growth. The role qualifies for our incentive plan with on-target earnings.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in strategic alliances, enterprise sales, or partner management within the data, cloud, or enterprise software industry.
• Experience managing complex, global relationships.
• Understanding of modern data stack and value of data infrastructure.
• Ability to engage at C-suite and partner level in a global tech org.
• Strong commercial instincts to identify and develop joint pipeline opportunities.
• Proven cross-functional orchestration across sales, engineering, marketing, and operations.

About the Role

Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies. We're looking for a Global Technology Partner Manager to own and grow our strategic partnership with Databricks. This role helps to accelerate the partner development process, establishing programs and joint go-to-market efforts which generate referrals, alongside new business opportunities and an improved customer buying experience. The Alliances team is instrumental to the growth at Fivetran and how we as a company go to market and this role is critical to this in achieving alignment with our most strategic partners.

What Youll Do

• You will own the entire global relationship with Databricks and become the main point of contact for this partner.
• You will orchestrate across sales, partner solution architecture, marketing, and partner operations.
• You will introduce and establish yourself as a trusted resource for all field sales and pre-sales reps in the US in the first 90 days across this partner in addition to key product and marketing and product stakeholders.
• You will connect the dots between Fivetran Partner Sales Managers and our partner sales teams to ensure the sales team is solution selling with our partners and delivering a delightful customer experience.
• You will work closely with Marketing and Product teams to establish and execute our strategic partner go-to-market efforts focusing both on repeatable and unique programs.
• You will focus on growing mutual customer adoption, pipeline development and revenue growth across both Fivetran and Databricks.

Skills Were Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in strategic alliances, enterprise sales, or partner management within the data, cloud, or enterprise software industry
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, global relationships
• Deep understanding of the modern data stack and the business value of open data infrastructure dbt, Fivetran, or equivalent experience strongly preferred
• Ability to engage credibly at C-suite and partner level within a global technology organization
• Strong commercial instincts able to identify, thoroughly qualify and develop joint pipeline opportunities, not just manage existing relationships
• Track record of operating as a cross-functional orchestrator influencing without direct authority across sales, engineering, marketing, and operations

This position qualifies for Fivetrans incentive plan, and it's common for employees in this role to achieve the total on-target earnings.
