Job summary

Lumentum Operations LLC seeks a Senior Tax Manager to lead tax provision and foreign compliance in San Jose. The role focuses on ASC 740, multi-jurisdictional tax processes, and cross-functional collaboration with Accounting and FP&A.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of progressive tax experience in corporate tax or public accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Business, or related field.
• CPA strongly preferred; MST or advanced tax degree a plus.
• Big Four experience or combination of Big Four and multinational corporate tax experience preferred.
• Deep technical knowledge of ASC 740, U.S. GAAP, income tax accounting, and global tax provision processes.
• Strong research, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel; experience with Oracle and OneSource software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare significant portions of the quarterly and annual global tax provision, including current tax expense and deferred tax, and related disclosures.
• Prepare and support tax-related financial statement disclosures and tax footnotes.
• Manage the tax provision calendar with Accounting, FP&A, regional finance teams, and external advisors.
• Review foreign tax provision packages for accuracy and consistency.
• Coordinate with transfer pricing and U.S. international compliance teams.
• Support Pillar Two / GLoBE implementation and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to streamline tax provision, compliance, and reporting processes.
