Job summary

BDO USA in Los Angeles seeks a Tax Intern for International Tax Services to support cross-border client projects, perform tax research, and assist with international reporting obligations under supervision.

You will gain exposure to US and international tax rules, help develop work plans, and collaborate with senior staff to deliver Written Tax Advice. Proficiency with MS Office and tax databases such as RIA, BNA, LexisNexis or Westlaw is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in accounting, taxation, or related field.
• Enrolled in a degree program relevant to taxation.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cross-border tax research and analysis.
• Support development of work plans for assigned clients.
• Coordinate with colleagues to align US and foreign tax rules.
• Prepare Written Tax Advice on international tax matters under supervision.
• Use tax software and databases to support compliance and reporting.
