Digital Asset is seeking a Director of Tax to lead the tax function through rapid growth. You will own the end-to-end tax strategy and refine global tax initiatives for both US and international entities.

The ideal candidate brings public company tax expertise, crypto/digital asset experience, and a track record of scaling tax teams and systems from early stages through IPO and beyond. This role offers a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in Tax, preferably in a high-growth tech/FinTech company.
• Public company tax experience and SOX 404 familiarity.
• Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel/Sheets skills; build flexible models from scratch.
• Experience with crypto/digital assets and global indirect tax considerations.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and tax strategy for Digital Asset.
• Oversee tax financial reporting and compliance for US and foreign entities.
• Lead tax audits/examinations across jurisdictions.
• Manage external advisors and transition to internal processes.
• Manage provisions and transfer pricing in line with financial reporting.
• Develop and improve tax systems, processes and policies.
• Produce monthly/quarterly/annual tax management reporting; handle ad hoc requests.
• Collaborate with accounting, legal, operations, HR and compliance.
