Job summary

Unity Search has been retained to recruit a Director of Tax Accounting for a large multinational based in the Dallas area. You will lead the global tax provisioning, ASC 740, ETR, FIN 48, deferred taxes, and SEC reporting, and collaborate with CFO, FP&A, and external auditors on forecasting and technical tax matters.

The role seeks 15+ years of tax accounting experience with deep ASC 740 expertise and a strong change mindset to drive automation, tax technology enhancements, and an in-house

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in tax accounting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global tax accounting function, including ASC 740 provision and SEC reporting.
• Oversee complex international tax matters (Pillar Two, GILTI, CAMT, Subpart F, FTCs).
• Partner with CFO, FP&A, Accounting and external auditors on forecasting and technical tax matters.
• Drive tax technology, automation, AI initiatives, and transition the provision process in-house.

This role will be responsible for: Leading the global tax accounting function, including ASC 740 provision, ETR, FIN 48, deferred taxes, and SEC reporting. Oversee complex international tax accounting matters, including Pillar Two, CAMT, GILTI/NCTI, Subpart F, and FTCs. Partner with the CFO, FP&A, Accounting, and external auditors on forecasting and technical tax matters. Drive tax technology, automation, AI, and process improvements while transitioning the provision process in-house. Ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience, deep ASC 740 expertise, and a strong change mindset.
