Job summary

K&L Gates is seeking a Principal, Talent Strategy to lead the design of enterprise talent frameworks, workforce architecture, and program design across multiple pillars. You will translate firm strategy into scalable models and tools to guide talent across the organization globally.

You will partner with HR leadership to ensure analytics-grounded decisions, benchmark against Am Law peers, and drive integration across talent strategy, acquisition, and HR operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in HR strategy, talent management, or management consulting.
• Demonstrated experience designing enterprise-level frameworks or operating models.
• Exceptional ability to synthesize complex inputs into clear, structured outputs.
• Advanced analytical capability (Excel/modeling).
• Strong executive communication skills (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Owns the design and evolution of enterprise talent frameworks and operating models.
• Develops associate-to-partner career journeys, progression milestones and alternative pathways.
• Leads competency models and leadership behavior frameworks aligned to firm strategy.
• Shapes employer value proposition (EVP) and talent positioning strategy.
• Creates data-driven talent insights and dashboards for HR leadership.
