Job summary

Rheem Manufacturing Company in the United States seeks an Enterprise Sustainability Analyst to advance global sustainability initiatives across product, operations and R&D.

You will measure, track, and analyze sustainability metrics, support greenhouse gas inventories, and collaborate with cross-functional teams; this hybrid role reports to the Sustainability Engineering Manager and may involve travel to co-manufacturers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry, environmental sciences, etc.).
• 3+ years of experience in wide-ranging operational sustainability, environmental science, and/or engineering roles.
• Familiarity with GHG Accounting, Life Cycle Assessments, and Environmental Management standards.
• Experience with global manufacturing companies and/or companies with geographically and functionally diverse operations.
• Excellent analytical and project management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to break down complex ideas.
• Ability to influence internal stakeholders and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Note that global travel may be required to execute sustainability programs.

Responsibilities

• Collate and analyze product/process sustainability metrics across global locations towards achieving set goals.
• Conduct periodic waste audits and data analysis at global manufacturing sites to support Zero Waste to Landfill.
• Build greenhouse gas inventories for Rheem’s global manufacturing locations.
• Measure and track progress towards achieving 2025 product/process global sustainability goals.
• Support efforts to measure and categorize environmental impact of the product portfolio and customize related marketing elements.
• Help implement Sustainability Strategy Sessions across Rheem’s global businesses.
• Contribute to competitive research on sustainability initiatives in HVACR manufacturing sector.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to fulfill miscellaneous requests from global product/operations teams.
• Capture and share sustainability progress to secure commitment and support for integrating sustainable development into core processes.
• Potential future project support: Life Cycle Assessments and data gathering from EPD requests.
