Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Global Supply Manager for Custom Silicon and Semiconductors to lead strategic sourcing, supplier development and procurement for Starlink components. You will drive supplier selection, cost optimization and end-to-end lifecycle management.

The role requires deep silicon foundry/OSAT understanding, cross-functional collaboration with engineering and quality teams, and the ability to navigate a fast-moving, high-stakes supply chain environment in Redmond, WA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience in supply chain, production, or engineering; or advanced degree with 4+ years in same functions; or 10+ years in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier analysis to identify strategic suppliers and optimize costs.
• Manage supplier base with stratification model and playbook.
• Evaluate suppliers on capability, quality, reliability and price; monitor performance.
• Analyze supplier operations for rapid deployment of new product development.
• Drive improvements in supplier quality, total cost, service levels and lead times.
• Develop supplier scorecards and report to leadership.
