Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc., Rahway, NJ, USA is seeking a Sr. Specialist in Global Supply Chain Management to lead strategy, scenario modeling, and end-to-end transfer execution for North America.

You will partner with Global Supply Chain, Regulatory, Quality, and Finance to design robust transfer plans, manage capacity, reduce risk, and align donor and receiving sites for smooth production ramps.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Operations, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, production planning, site operations, or tech transfer execution.
• Proven experience managing large-scale product transfers or network integration projects within a highly regulated industry is a strong plus (Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Medical Devices preferred).

Responsibilities

• Strategy & scenario modeling to optimize asset utilization and CapEx justifications.
• Risk management and business continuity planning to avoid disruptions during transfers.
• Execution & governance including coordination with donor/receiving sites, Regulatory, Quality, and Master Data teams.
