Job summary

Allison Transmission is seeking a Global Supply Chain Intern for Summer 2027 in Indianapolis, IN. You will support logistics, demand planning and inventory management by analyzing data and improving operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• College undergraduate or graduate status with 1–3 years at an accredited college or university.
• Pursuing a field related to Supply Chain, Data Analysis, Management or Engineering.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and analytical problem-solving.
• ITAR requires United States Citizenship or Permanent Residency.

Responsibilities

• Data analysis and reporting: validate, clean and manipulate supply chain data, create logistics dashboards and KPI reports.
• Supplier management: assist with supplier performance tracking and maintaining supplier databases.
• Operations support: coordinate with manufacturing, logistics, and procurement on inventory strategy and demand planning.
• Process optimization: research technologies to improve supply chain workflows, reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Support in design, development, or improvement of manufacturing processes.
