Job summary

Expeditors is seeking a Global Supply Chain Analyst – Order Management to ensure timely movement of freight and information while delivering exceptional customer service within the Order Management team. The role focuses on data entry accuracy, tracking shipments, and handling import/export documentation.

You will interact with customers to arrange international shipments, monitor KPI performance, and support intercompany billing.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year related experience or training.
• Excellent organizational skills and time management.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adhere to OPS and regulations.
• Hazardous Materials certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the proper and timely movement of freight and information within Order Management.
• Enter data accurately into the operating system and maintain records.
• Track and trace order files and use daily workflows to manage shipments.
• Monitor shipment reports to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery.
• Coordinate import/export documentation and communicate with customers and vendors.
• Manage intercompany invoice payments and billing processes.
• Interact with customers to arrange international shipments and uphold service standards.
• Maintain relationships with carriers and compliance with company policies and government regulations.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency.

Summary:

Ensure the proper and timely movement of freight and information, while providing an exceptional customer service within the Order Management department

Task and Duties:

Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.

Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system.

Track and trace Order Management files.

Use workflows on daily basis to manage shipments

Monitor shipment reports to ensure total customer satisfaction

Ensure timely clearance and delivery of freight to customer for Import shipments.

Ensure documents are timely sent and arrival notice communicated to destination for Export shipments.

Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing.

Manage intercompany invoice payments (i.e. via AJAX report)

Interact with our customers, arranging their international shipments, meeting customer service standards.

Contribute to maintain strong relationships with vendors (Shipping lines, trucking companies, and others).

Meet compliance at all times to regulations. This includes internal policies and procedures such as Operational Process Standards (OPS), Audit requirements, external government regulations or customer’s policies / requirements.

Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency.

Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are followed and updated in the DLSOP.

Meet KPI standards, per company procedure.

Overseas communications, timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external)

Escalation of problems to Management when necessary

Promote compliance in diligently following all company policies and regulations and performing the task at hand with outstanding integrity and pride.

Understanding transportation process of all models is a plus

Hazardous Materials certification (preferred)

6 months to 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Meet company standards of 52 hours training per year, including as needed management/leadership training

Excellent organizational skills, time management skills in addition to a professional manner

Positive and willing to help attitude

Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely obtain positive results

Expected Salary: $25 - $32/hour
