Job summary

Gilead Sciences, Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Global Supplier Quality located in Foster City, CA or La Verne, CA. You will lead the global Supplier Change Governance and ASL management, ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance across the enterprise.

The role requires 10+ years in supplier quality with GMP/GDP expertise, and experience with systems like Veeva, SAP, or GPLM. You will collaborate across Quality and Supply Chain to drive continuous improvement and strategic vendor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality, Quality Systems, Compliance, or related pharmaceutical/biotech functions.
• Strong expertise with supplier lifecycle management, supplier qualification, supplier change management, and supplier governance.
• Experience leading global quality programs and cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience with quality management systems and enterprise platforms such as Veeva, SAP, GPLM, or equivalent systems.
• Advanced understanding of GMP, GDP, ICH, FDA, EMA, and global regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of data governance principles and master data management activities.
• Strong analytical capabilities with experience developing metrics, dashboards, and performance reporting.
• Leadership experience with skills for negotiating, influencing, stakeholder management, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead global governance for supplier changes and ensure consistent risk-based decision-making.
• Oversee Approved Supplier List governance and supplier data integrity across systems.
• Develop metrics and dashboards to monitor supplier quality performance.
• Drive continuous improvement and digital transformation of supplier quality processes.
• Collaborate with Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Regulatory and Quality Systems.
