Job summary

3D Systems is seeking an experienced Intermediate Supplier Quality Engineer to support global operations in Littleton, Colorado, and Leuven, Belgium. You will evaluate suppliers, drive corrective actions, and maintain quality across medical device and aerospace materials and components.

The role requires in-depth regulatory knowledge, supplier audits, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure compliance and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, quality management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in supplier quality engineering, preferably in medical device or aerospace industries.
• In‑depth knowledge of quality management systems, regulations, and standards (ISO 13485, FDA QSR, AS9100).
• Experience conducting supplier audits and managing supplier corrective actions.
• Familiarity with risk management tools (e.g., FMEA).
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of potential suppliers to evaluate capability to meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with procurement to maintain an approved supplier list based on qualification criteria.
• Drive supplier corrective actions and improvement plans for non-conformities.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to track supplier performance and improvements.
• Conduct supplier audits to evaluate compliance with quality systems and contractual obligations.
• Identify risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
