IPD (Industrial Parts Depot, LLC) seeks a Supplier Development Manager in Carson, CA to develop, implement, and maintain an advanced supplier development system that ensures reliable product quality and continuous improvement across the supply base. You will lead supplier audits, process capability studies, and corrective actions, serving as a technical liaison between internal teams and suppliers.

Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, quality management, or related field.
7+ years of experience in sourcing, quality, and/or supplier development in manufacturing.
Experience with ISO 9001; IATF 16949 preferred.

Responsibilities

Establishes and maintains process control methodologies across supplier operations.
Leads supplier audits and evaluates process capability and risk prior to approval.
Drives corrective action follow-up and continuous improvement initiatives.
Prepares technical quality reports and supplier KPI analyses for management.
Acts as liaison between internal teams and suppliers to ensure quality alignment.
Travel to supplier sites ~20–30% for ongoing assessment and support.
