Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline with at least 2 years of engineering experience.
• Experience with supply chain and/or manufacturing operations.
• Ability to travel up to 20% globally.

Responsibilities

• Work with suppliers globally to understand processes and ensure quality and reliability.
• Partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Quality, R&D, Design Assurance, and Project Management to deliver material control deliverables.
• Serve as the technical lead in Global Sourcing category teams to set and execute objectives.
• Investigate and evaluate new or existing technologies for future products or to improve quality.
• Conduct risk assessments on sourced materials and build supplier capacity; implement mitigation plans.
• Coordinate all phases of supplier engineering work content and communicate issues and recovery actions with stakeholders.
• Identify and execute material cost reduction projects and influence cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrate commitment to patient safety and product quality by complying with Quality Policy.
