Job summary

Summit Therapeutics Inc. is seeking an experienced Manager to lead feasibility, site agreements, and start-up activities for our oncology clinical programs. You will manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and partner with Clinical Operations and Finance to ensure timely site activations.

The role requires strong negotiation, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration across global teams, with oversight of the SSU strategy and performance metrics.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5–7 years at manager level or 10+ years for Sr. Manager with feasibility, start-up, site agreements and eTMF experience.
  • Knowledge of clinical trial conduct including multi-center, global trials.
  • Strong communication and administrative skills, ability to work cross-functionally and with external providers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day SSU operations to meet goals per GCP/ICH guidelines.
  • Negotiate and finalize site agreements, budgets, contacts and documentation.
  • Present budgets for approval to executive leadership.
  • Develop study-wide site payment estimates and forecasts with Clinical and Finance teams.
  • Collaborate with Legal to ensure indemnification, confidentiality and compliance in contracts.
  • Provide regular updates on progress and KPIs related to trial agreements.
  • Support budget, invoice, payment and PO issue resolution with Finance and Clinical leadership.
  • Drive SSU strategy development and activation planning with study teams.
