Job summary

UNLV invites applications for the Director of International Student and Scholar Compliance within UNLV Global Education. The Director oversees international student and scholar services and leads the advising team, collaborating with colleges, admissions, registrar, HR, and student affairs to enhance the international student experience and advance UNLV’s mission.

The role ensures arrival and regulatory compliance, processes immigration requests, coordinates residency petitions with outside

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• 3-5 years DSO/PDSO/RO/ARO experience.
• 3-5 years working with international students/scholars in compliance.
• 3-5 years of staff supervision.
• 1-3 years of management experience.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee international student and scholar services and advising team.
• Collaborate with colleges, admissions, registrar, HR, and student affairs.
• Facilitate arrival and regulatory compliance for scholars and students.
• Process immigration requests and SEVIS reporting.
• Coordinate residency petitions with outside counsel.
• Serve as authorized signatory for UNLV-sponsored petitions.
