Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in New York seeks a seasoned Structured Trade Senior Group Manager to lead origination, structuring, and execution of complex trade transactions globally. You will oversee NA structuring, drive new capabilities, and collaborate with capital markets to expand the business.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in trade & working capital solutions, structured finance or related field.
• Deep expertise in trade product knowledge and credit risk management.
• Track record of executing complex financing transactions with global counterparties.
• Strong command of risk governance frameworks and accountability at team/portfolio level.
• Exceptional organizational skills managing multiple transactions across regions.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Originate and lead execution of complex cross-border trade finance transactions, as primary structuring authority for North America.
• Define optimal transaction structures addressing client needs across accounting, balance sheet, cross-border constraints and recourse.
• Lead development of new execution capabilities targeting emerging market segments like e-commerce and inventory finance.
• Partner with asset distribution and balance sheet teams to secure market appetite and build bank syndicates for large deals.
• Generate new origination and distribution channels in collaboration with capital markets teams.
