Job summary

The U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention (USP) invites a Senior Strategic Programs Manager to drive strategic initiatives within International Government & Regulatory Affairs, coordinating global programs, KPIs, and resources.

You’ll manage an executive international advisory group and deliver concise updates to stakeholders. Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in related fields, strong communication/presentation skills, and experience with digital tools and cross‑cultural collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Public Policy, Public Health, Political Science, International Affairs, Pharmacy, etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee strategic initiatives in the International Government & Regulatory Affairs department, tracking KPIs, timelines, and resources.
• Manage the operations of an executive level internal international advisory group.
• Develop clear project updates for internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee the Preferential Access for Regulators program to expand access to USP standards and training.
• Provide strategic support for USP engagements with key stakeholders, including research and briefing materials.
• Support the EVP of Global External Affairs on priority projects (~25%).
