Job summary

Excelligence Learning Corporation is seeking a Sourcing Manager to drive global sourcing for educational products, toys, classroom materials, and furniture. You will build a factory-direct supplier network with emphasis on Asia and South America, and lead supplier negotiations, cost reductions, and nearshoring opportunities.

The role requires experience with factory-direct manufacturing, product costing, and landed-cost optimization, plus familiarity with AI tools to improve sourcing efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of global sourcing experience, preferably with consumer products.
• Experience sourcing factory-direct products from China required.
• Experience sourcing from Mexico and nearshoring preferred.
• Experience with educational products, toys, furniture, or related goods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for educational products, toys, classroom materials, and furniture.
• Maintain a factory-direct supplier network, especially in Asia and South America.
• Negotiate costs, terms, MOQs, and lead times with suppliers worldwide.
• Identify cost-reduction and value-engineering opportunities.
• Ensure supplier compliance with U.S. safety and regulatory requirements.
• Lead cross-functional resolution of sourcing, production, and delivery issues.
