Job summary

Allied Steel Buildings is seeking a Global Sourcing Manager to lead end-to-end global sourcing for steel products, fabrications, cladding materials, and indirect spend. You will own global categories, drive cost, quality, lead-time, and risk outcomes, partnering with Engineering, Operations, Project Management, and Finance to align supply with our project pipeline.

Travel 20–30% internationally and domestically, mentor procurement teammates, and influence cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in strategic sourcing or procurement in manufacturing.
• Experience sourcing steel products or metal building materials.
• Proven track record managing global supplier bases across regions.
• Strong negotiation skills and contract management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and refine global category strategies for steel, cladding, and indirect materials.
• Lead RFQ/RFP processes, supplier evaluation, TCO modeling, and contract negotiations.
• Onboard strategic suppliers worldwide, with emphasis on USA and Spain operations.
• Manage long-term agreements covering price, lead times, terms, quality.
• Monitor steel market dynamics and translate into proactive sourcing actions.
• Drive cost savings, working capital optimization, and risk mitigation.
• Track sourcing KPIs to senior leadership.
