Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. is seeking a Global Sourcing Associate (Intern) to assist in procuring goods and services and support major projects. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, coordinate RFIs/RFPs, and help build a robust supplier base while learning our procurement processes.

The role emphasizes gaining hands‑on experience in supply chain, contracting, and cost control within a supportive, growth‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program at a four-year college or university.
• Interest in learning about supply chain, buying, selling, contracts, cost reductions, or budgets.
• Bilingual Spanish and English skills are a plus but are not required.

Responsibilities

• Understand, establish, and issue RFPs/RFQs for indirect materials and services.
• Project manage sourcing initiatives to achieve department goals.
• Establish, evaluate, and select suppliers to build a qualified base.
• Review monthly global sourcing data to support company direction and growth.
• Review bid proposals and negotiate contracts within budgetary constraints.
• Maintain procurement records and provide support to upper management.
