Job summary

F5 Networks, Inc. seeks a Principal Solutions Engineer to act as a pre-sales technical advisor for the Orange Global Account and its European subsidiaries.

You will demonstrate F5 solutions, design architectures, and drive technical validation in close collaboration with Sales Account Managers. The role emphasizes strong communication in English, deep product knowledge, and a track record in complex global telco or AI-enabled environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant industry experience.
• BS/BA or equivalent work experience.
• Experience as a Solutions Engineer for Orange or a global Telco provider is preferred.
• Familiarity with F5 technology or similar deployments.
• English fluency in speaking and writing.

Responsibilities

• Articulate F5 strategy, messaging and value to meet customer objectives.
• Provide technical designs, demos, and PoCs for Orange Global accounts.
• Map organizational structure of complex global accounts and identify champions.
• Drive the sales process with Account Managers and secure sponsorship.
• Collaborate with internal teams to share best practices and expertise.
• Ensure outstanding customer service throughout the lifecycle.

Solution Engineer for Orange Job Overview:

F5 is looking for a Principal Solutions Engineer (SE) as a pre-sales technical role with focus on Orane Global Account which as part of EMEA sales organization. TheSE’s primary responsibility is to support the sales team in charge of Orange Global and all Orange Subsidiaries (France, the other ones in Europe like Poland, Belgium, Slovakia as well as the African Subsidiaries) with technical skills and provide technical knowledge around F5 solutions to them.To be effective, an SE needs to have excellent technical skills and knowledge on both F5 products and the “eco-system” that we work in. Fear not, we do provide training and certification to keep abreast with these critical skills!

Thehigh-levelobjective is to achieve the allocated sales target and selling relevant F5 solutions and products to our customers business needs, in partnership with the Sales Account Managers’ team.Fromourcustomer(s)perspective, the SE is a trusted advisor who proactively learns and understands their technical and business challenges andis able topropose effective solutions to mitigate their concerns/offer gainful solutions.The F5 SE not onlypresents the technical features but also business benefits in the Technical Value Proposition.

What you’ll do:

• Articulate the F5productstrategy,messaging and positioning F5’svalue propositionand solutionsfor customer business objectives.
• Providetechnical expertise through sales presentations, solution designs, solution demonstrations,proof of conceptsbyvarious mediums – in-person/virtual presentations, white boards etc.
• Determine viability of opportunity and map out organizational structure of complex global accounts like Orange.
• Drive the sales process in partnership with the Account Managers’ team, by identifying the Champions, getting their technical validation, support, and sponsorship.
• Consistently provide world-class customer servicethrough the customer life cycle.
• Work collaboratively with internal technical and salesresources, share best practices, updates,offerand seekexpertise as the need arisesin various opportunities.

How you’ll do it:

• By your knowledge and experience with Data Centers, Virtualization and Cloud computing environments, as well as AI Factory infrastructures;
• Experience with Service Provider’s Mobile network architectures and protocols, especially mobile network architectures and protocols defined by 3GPP (4G and 5G) with specific focus on Packe Core and Telco Cloud infrastructures
• Knowledge on news generation network Data Center infrastructures (based on high speed connections, IP routing, BGP-EVPN etc.)
• You will have worked with DevOps, CI/CD, as well ascontainer orchestration solutions (eg: Kubernetes, Openshift etc).
• Experience in the RFx processes
• Knowledge of Network and Application Security

What you’ll bring:

• 8 + years of related industry experience.
• BS/BA or equivalent work experience.
• Previous experience as Solution Engineer working for Orage or, as alternative, for a global Telco Provider;
• Familiarity/experience withF5 technology or similar industrysolution deploymentis a plus.
• AI knowledge is a plus
• Relevant certifications are a plus.
• Fluent verbal and writing skills in English.
