Kforce is partnering with a Chicago-area client to hire a Shared Services Accounting Leader. This hybrid leadership role oversees global accounting operations, drives process improvements and system initiatives, and ensures accurate financial reporting and compliance.

The ideal candidate has a CPA, 10+ years of progressive accounting and leadership experience, and experience leading large-scale ERP implementations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
CPA, public accounting experience, and large-scale systems implementation experience are preferred
10+ years of progressive accounting and leadership experience
Experience leading accounting operations, managing teams, and driving process improvements
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting best practices

Responsabilités

Lead global shared services accounting operations and oversee key financial close activities
Manage and develop a high-performing accounting team while driving operational excellence
Partner with cross-functional leaders to support financial reporting, compliance, and strategic initiatives
Identify process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and support finance transformation efforts, including ERP initiatives
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance accounting processes and drive continuous improvement
