Job summary

Stellantis in Auburn Hills is seeking a Senior Buyer for Seating to own global seat armrest and headrest sourcing, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and drive supply strategy for North America and worldwide, with an annual business value of several hundred million dollars.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of purchasing experience, global commodity exposure, strong negotiation and leadership skills, and proficiency with MS Office and SAP–Penta.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, or closely related field from ABET accredited university.
• Minimum of 8 years of purchasing or closely related relevant experience.
• Global commodity experience and experience working in global teams.
• Strong communication with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage supplier relationships.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute full lifecycle commodity strategies for seating components.
• Lead global sourcing for seat armrest and headrest commodities.
• Coordinate supplier issue resolution and drive cost savings initiatives.
• Negotiate with suppliers and manage on-time delivery and performance.
• Interact with cross-functional teams including engineering and finance.
