Job summary

DoorDash’s Global Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) team invites a Security Risk Specialist to shape and run our risk management program. You will work cross-functionally to identify risks, report on them, support policy exceptions when a policy cannot be met, and help automate tooling that keeps our risk register accurate and trustworthy.

You will report into the Senior Security Risk Manager on our GRC team, contributing to a proactive risk function across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience leading risk management programs and risk assessments.
• Ability to translate regulatory changes into working controls.
• Strong collaboration with security, engineering and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead global risk management processes and negotiate treatment plans with risk owners.
• Analyze how controls operate day-to-day and incorporate threat intelligence.
• Manage policy exceptions with compensating controls or risk acceptance where appropriate.
• Own risk reporting for key areas like security or engineering.
• Collaborate broadly within GRC, security teams and the business.
• Help shape the team’s tooling and automation to scale risk management.
