Wolfspeed, Inc. is seeking a GSOC Specialist to play a crucial role in protecting people, property and information.

You will provide excellent customer service and support essential security functions while assessing, coordinating, and overseeing emergency response efforts on site during incidents. Key responsibilities include monitoring cameras, access control, and alarms; maintaining event records; and prioritizing service requests to meet local and global requirements.

As a GSOC Specialist, you will have an opportunity to play a crucial role in our department’s mission to protect people, property and information by providing excellent customer service and supporting essential security functions as well as assessing, coordinating, and overseeing emergency response efforts during security or emergency incidents on site.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

Maintain visibility of emergency conditions while using established procedures and critical thinking to provide solutions

• Monitor cameras, access control and facility alarms, as well as conduct internal CCTV investigations as needed
• Maintain various records of communication and events
• Respond to and dispatch for life-safety incidents
• Process and prioritize service requests to effectively support both local and global operational requirements

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, time and task management skills, and high level of attention to detail

• Aptitude for learning and applying new skills
• Strong decision-making skills within a fast-paced environment
• Strong computer skills with knowledge of CAD, Life Safety, Alarm, and Access Control Systems
• Strong customer service skills
• Experience working with badging and access control software
