Five years of investigative experience and formal training are preferred to lead security initiatives, assist regional leadership, and ensure compliance with policies and laws.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Five years of investigative experience.
  • Experience in multi-site Security (Loss Prevention) environment with fraud investigation, audits and awareness programs.
  • Formal investigative and interview training (e.g. Reid / Wicklander & Zulawski).
  • Experience reading and interpreting POS systems, databases, financial reports and legal documents.
  • Experience responding to inquiries from customers, law enforcement or regulatory agencies.
  • Knowledge of security system installations and operation (burglary, duress, CCTV).

Responsibilities

  • Manage security programs aligned with company policies and laws to protect assets and minimize losses.
  • Develop and manage security awareness programs to reduce fraudulent losses and promote workplace safety.
  • Initiate investigations based on loss trends and internal reports.
  • Develop security reports to brief regional leadership on ongoing security activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description Summary:


  • Responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, validation and management of corporate security and physical security programs and initiatives within their assigned region, which encompass multiple state areas and 150+ operating locations.

  • Conducts and documents investigations, audits and surveils operations to protect company personnel, brand, customers, shareholders, business operations, assets and prevention of losses resulting from fraudulent activity or behavior.


Essential Functions:


  • Manages the security programs that are consistent with company policies, procedures, and criminal / civil laws to protect company assets and minimize loss exposure

  • Develops, implements, and manages security awareness programs that contribute to the prevention and reduction of fraudulent losses while promoting team member safety and security through the workplace violence prevention program

  • Initiate investigations based upon the analysis of loss trends, internal reports and input from other informational sources

  • Develops and provides security reports and other documents designed to familiarize regional leadership teams with the on-going security/loss prevention activities and initiatives

  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Minimum Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.


Minimum Experience:


  • Five years of investigative experience.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


  • Experience in multi-site Security (Loss Prevention) environment where duties were focused on investigation of fraudulent activities, Security audits and development of security / loss prevention awareness programs & presentations.

  • Formal investigative and interview training (Reid / Wicklander & Zulawski or similar instruction / training in the investigative interview process).

  • Experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting point of sale systems, computer based databases, financial reports and legal documents.

  • Experience responding to common inquiries or complaints from customers, law enforcement, regulatory agencies or members of the business community.

  • Knowledge and experience with security system (burglary, duress and CCTV) installations and operation.


Job Conditions:


  • Ability to travel as required in order to meet with customers, vendors, other team members, and/or other business necessities, to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time, to function in a fast-paced environment under substantial pressure, and to work within the appropriate level of independence


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Recent experience in Law Enforcement and/or Corporate Security would be a plus.


Work/Domicile Location:


  • This position will be in East Point (Atlanta), Georgia.


Relocation:


  • Relocation assistance may be available based upon business needs.


Pay Transparency:

Pay: Minimum: $6511.62 monthly - Maximum: $8627.89 monthly
