Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Manager, Global Scientific Affairs to lead investigator-sponsored and collaborative studies from concept through closeout at our Princeton, NJ site. You will coordinate proposals, start-up, budgets, and partnerships with investigators and internal teams to ensure compliant, timely execution.

You will provide scientific expertise, develop protocols, track milestones, and support publications while collaborating across Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Legal, and Supply Chain

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years clinical research/medical affairs/project management experience.
• Experience with clinical trials and managing research studies.
• Knowledge of statistical techniques and data analysis.
• Understanding of clinical laboratory/assay principles and regulatory compliance.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Willing to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of collaborative and investigator-sponsored studies.
• Partner with investigators and cross-functional teams for study concepts and approvals.
• Serve as primary contact for investigators and study sites.
• Collaborate with Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Legal, Supply Chain, R&D and PMO.
• Provide scientific/technical expertise, study design, and protocol development.
• Track milestones, budgets, invoices, documents, and shipments.
• Support publications and dissemination of findings.
• Monitor literature, competitive technologies, and trends.
• Contribute to SOPs and medical information resources.
• Support Scientific Advisory Boards and other engagements.
