Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to drive ABAP solutions across ECC and S/4HANA, delivering RICEFW components and robust integrations (IDoc, RFC, BAPI, Web Services, OData). You’ll design, code, test, and support, while coordinating with Basis and security teams to ensure secure, compliant transports.

You’ll work with FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, WM/EWM, and other SAP areas on technical design, TDS, and performance optimization, with a focus on quality and rapid problem

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• 4–6 years SAP ABAP development across ECC and S/4HANA.
• Experience with RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
• Experience with SAP integration technologies (IDoc, RFC, BAPI, Web Services, Proxies, OData).
• Enhancement techniques: User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs.
• Forms development: SAP Script and Adobe Forms.
• ABAP debugging, performance tuning, and SAP transport management.
• Knowledge of ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP.
• Fiori/UI5 and modern SAP development concepts.
• Ability to collaborate with FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, WM/EWM teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and design SAP ABAP solutions.
• Develop ABAP solutions across RICEFW components.
• Support integrations via IDoc, RFC, BAPI, Web Services, and OData.
• Prepare Technical Design Specifications and estimates.
• Participate in SIT/UAT, deployments, and hypercare activities.
• Provide production support and root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate transports with Solution Manager and security teams.
