Sanofi is seeking a Global Safety Officer, I&I, to lead pharmacovigilance and safety activities across Cambridge, MA and Morristown, NJ. You will drive risk management, oversee safety submissions, and guide safety strategy within development plans, interacting with Health Authorities and cross-functional teams.

The role requires MD degree with international PV experience, excellent judgment, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• MD degree or equivalent required.
• Board certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years international pharmacovigilance experience or equivalent in clinical development.
• Excellent clinical judgment and ability to synthesize data from multiple sources.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Demonstrates leadership within cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Provide PV and risk management expertise to internal and external customers.
• Lead cross-functional Safety Management Teams (SMTs) and internal SATs.
• Represent PV position within project/product teams and with Health Authorities.
• Provide strategic and proactive safety input into development plans.
• Support due diligence activities and pharmacovigilance agreements.
• Write and contribute to safety sections in submission documents.
• Coordinate safety surveillance and signal detection activities.
