Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Retirement Benefits Manager to lead 401(k) funding, plan testing, and nonqualified plan administration for US and international retirement programs.

You will oversee vendor relationships, communicate complex retirement concepts, and support Total Rewards strategies in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and meticulous attention to regulatory detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of retirement benefits experience including hands-on 401(k) plan administration.
• Knowledge of ERISA and other federal regulations governing qualified retirement plans.
• Working knowledge of Internal Revenue Code Section 409A.
• Demonstrated experience with nonqualified retirement plan administration.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analyzing, reconciling, and validating benefits and retirement plan data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage 401(k) Plan funding and critical processes for US and international retirement plans.
• Oversee Highly Compensated Employee determinations, discrimination testing, and annual 401(k) match true-ups.
• Administer nonqualified retirement plans and related enrollments and distributions.
• Coordinate with HR technology and vendors on plan changes and enhancements.
• Lead participant education initiatives and financial wellness programs.
• Support relocation and tuition assistance benefits administration.
• Oversee WorkDay initiatives related to Financial Wellness plans.
