Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive in Piscataway, New Jersey, is seeking a Procurement Manager for Raw Materials to lead global supply chain strategies and supplier ecosystems. You will architect long-term material strategies, drive cost-saving initiatives, and champion sustainable sourcing across our personal, home, and oral care brands.

The role requires leadership, negotiations with suppliers, and collaboration with legal and finance teams to optimize value, risk, and quality while supporting top-line growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 8+ years procurement experience in raw materials or supplies.
• Experience running RFIs and RFPs with strong data analysis skills.
• Solid understanding of SAP and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Architect Material Strategies: Build forward looking raw material strategies balancing market dynamics, risk, capacity, and costs.
• Master Supplier Alliances: Cultivate strategic relationships with raw material suppliers aligned to Colgate growth targets.
• Lead Enterprise Negotiations: Negotiate key raw material contracts with global legal and finance teams.
• Mitigate Operational Risk: Act as escalation partner to neutralize supply bottlenecks and issues before hitting manufacturing.
• Champion Sustainable Sourcing: Drive sustainability roadmap and supplier diversity targets across partners.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Lead cost reduction programs with strategic suppliers and stakeholders.
