Job summary

International Motors, based in Lisle, Illinois, offers a 12‑week internship with TRATON R&D. You will gain hands‑on experience across Connected Services, Powertrain, Battery & Charging, and EE & Software, collaborating with global teams and senior engineers.

This is an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real world challenges in commercial transportation. You will be mentored, build technical skills, and contribute to meaningful projects across International, Scania, MAN, and Volkswagen

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Eligible for a 12‑week internship starting end of May/early June 2027.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support development across Connected & Connected Services, Powertrain, Battery & Charging, EE & Software.
• Contribute to design, testing, and optimization of propulsion systems.
• Assist with electrification technology and energy management initiatives.
• Collaborate on cross‑brand engineering projects within TRATON R&D.
