Job summary

CoorsTek is seeking a Director of Quality to lead the quality strategy and continuous improvement across Medical, Energy, Automotive, and Durables markets. You will drive defect prevention, process capability, and customer confidence, while aligning with corporate objectives.

The role demands extensive leadership across manufacturing sites, expertise in ISO/IATF/FDA standards, and a track record of implementing robust quality programs that deliver measurable results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or technical field; 10+ years in quality leadership within manufacturing.
• Experience leading quality programs across multiple sites and countries.
• Knowledge of quality systems and standards (ISO, IATF, FDA) and Lean Six Sigma.
• ASQ Lead Auditor certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and lead the quality strategy and annual priorities.
• Translate business strategy into quality goals, roadmaps, and execution plans.
• Lead quality programs to prevent defects and improve process capability.
• Drive a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement across the organization.
• Operate the quality management system to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulations.
• Standardize processes, metrics, and corrective action disciplines.
• Lead initiatives to improve systems across sites and reduce variation.
• Interface with customers and stakeholders to deliver value and resolve issues.
• Coach and develop managers to build organizational quality capability.
