Job summary

Jabil, a global engineering and manufacturing solutions leader, seeks a Quality Engineer to own the QA function for worldwide accounts from our Memphis site. You will develop QA plans, support new product introductions, and coordinate inspection processes across teams.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in electronics manufacturing quality, with expertise in PFMEA, SPC, Lean Six Sigma, and ISO programs, plus demonstrated supervisory capability for future leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a technical engineering discipline with emphasis on quality
• At least 3–5+ years of quality engineering experience in electronics manufacturing
• Experience with quality tools and continuous improvement methodologies

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain QA plans and timeliness of global new product introductions using APQP and Process Optimization
• Provide support for quoting activities during early design and process development phases
• Evaluate inspection processes and develop guidelines for inspection aids
• Support global training programs with development and delivery of specialized sessions
• Create and manage document storage and review systems for global accounts
• Review supplier and customer discrepancies and drive corrective/preventive actions
• Coordinate and track action plans and effectiveness of improvements
• Lead or participate in vendor surveys and process improvements with suppliers
• Drive standardization of manufacturing processes for global accounts
• Interface with departments to ensure adherence to quality policies and procedures
• Provide technical guidance on quality issues for customer projects
• Ensure safety and security policies are followed and address accessibility requirements
• Mentor quality technicians and inspectors
